1 Hr Biomechanical & Functional Movement Assessment

During this session your functional movement will be analysed and using specialised video software Biomechanical running technique assessed 

I will identify any weaknesses, incorrect running patterns and imbalances that may be slowing you down or be the cause of repetitive niggles and injuries.

 You will be given advice on how to improve and correct any of the issues identified.

Movement & Running Technique Programme

Having identified any weaknesses, incorrect running patterns and imbalances that may be stopping you from achieving your goals, this complete 7 week Re-patterning Programme is designed to change and improve your Running Technique Running.  

 

Sessions focus on learning correct running technique and combine running with strength, activation and mobility work.

You will receive personalised Weekly training plans which will include specific mobility, activation & strength exercises  

At the end of your programme you will receive before and after videos

Running & Movement/ Rehabilitation/ Return to Sport

Personalised training programmes are tailored to support your goals whether that be returning from injury, new to running, training for an event or improving your performance

 

Do you have a child who is struggling with movement, co-ordination or sport? I can help teach them to move better, gain more confidence & get more involved

 

Each programme is unique & will be goal focused, starting at the right level for you. 

 

Whilst being challenging the programme will motivate and encourage continued progress. 

 

 

 

Wherever you are in your running & movement journey, BMA Running can help you achieve your goals.  Throughout each session I use a variety of learning techniques which optimize and speed up learning,  using auditory, visual and kinaesthetic stimulus.  You will be led through a series of drills and specific exercises to stimulate and re-educate kinetic chains & motor control.

 

To support your progress you will be given personalised weekly training plans which will include running drills, activation, mobility & strength exercises.

Following injury or surgery there may be an interruption in correct movement patterns which the body will try and compensate for to keep moving and to assist with recovery.

Using a functional approach, BMA Running will aim to help you back to full fitness and become pain free. The rehabilitation programme is progressive from the basic movement re-education, to functional neuromotor stimulation & dynamic movement development.

Kids Movement & Running Sessions

 

 

At BMA Running, the focus of the the kids session is on FUN 

 

Kids develop and grow at different rates. This can affect their movement, focus & running ability. Some kids can't get enough of sport, while others struggle.  The Movement & Running sessions for Kids are fun 45 minutes sessions suitable for kids aged 6-14 years old of all abilities, from the very sporty to those who are not as confident in activity and sport.
